CALL FOR PAPERS
You are kindly invited to submit abstracts describing work that you wish to present at the Fourth Estill World Voice Symposium: Foundations for the Future either orally or as a poster.

All abstracts will be evaluated. Accepted abstracts will be published in the prior to the Symposium.

SUBMISSION OF ABSTRACTS

Abstracts must be submitted no later than 31 January 2009.
Abstracts can only be submitted online or by email to info@trainmyvoice.com.
The Symposium Planning Committee will review all abstracts and notification will be given by 28 February 2008.

TOPICS

The Symposium theme is ‘Foundations for the Future’. Presentations will be considered on any topic relating to Estill Voice Training, the Estill Voice Model and Estill International. However, we are specifically looking for presentations on the following topics.

1) Teaching for the Future
•           Guidance on the running master classes.
•           Setting-up and delivering courses.
•           Pedagogy and philosophy relating to Estill Voice Training.
•           Integration of Voiceprint and technology in teaching.

2) Voice Care for the Future
•           Clinical application of Estill Voice Training.
•           Using Voiceprint in the clinic.
•           New clinical research relating to the Estill Voice Model.

3) Versatile Voice of the Future
•           Creative collaboration between with coaches and clinicians.
•           Teaching Figures for Voice.
•           Advanced permutations and application of voice qualities.
•           Working with different client groups.
 
Please remember that this Symposium is aimed at CFPs, CMTs, CCIs and other long-time students. Presentations giving overviews or summaries of the Estill Voice Model or ‘re-presentations’ of Level One and Level Two material will not be accepted. Presentations should also avoid repeating material already submitted at previous Estill Symposiums.
